Our alumna Birgitta Schultze-Bernhardt receives the prestigious Austrian START-Prize 2020.

Our alumna Katrin Oberhofer has been admitted to the FP-RESOMUS Fellowship program within the Swiss research network NCCR MUST. In May 2020 she joins the group of Prof. Majed Chergui at the Laboratory for Ultrafast Spectroscopy at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. 

Our PhD student Matthias Nuber receives a doctoral scholarship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes.

Dr. Johann Riemensberger receives the PhD Award 2019 from the Bund der Freunde der Technischen Universität München e.V.

Our alumnus Marcus Ossiander receives a Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for a research stay with Prof. Federico Capasso at Harvard University.

Our alumnus Johann Riemensberger has successfully acquired a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship of the European Union. Together with Prof. Tobias J. Kippenberg at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, he is researching ultrashort light pulses in photonic integrated circuits.
